Continuing Education Village - Online

University of Virginia School of Medicine and School of Nursing - Office of Continuing Education

One of our recent projects is cevillageonline.com, a dedicated video online platform designed to serve as a Continuing Medical Education (CME) center. It provides healthcare professionals with access to a wide range of educational resources and training opportunities to enhance their medical knowledge and skills.

The platform features high-quality video lectures on “Substance Misuse and Opioid Use Disorders: A National Problem – An Interprofessional Solution,” a collaborative initiative tackling the opioid crisis in the United States.

This project provides webinars courses designed for healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines, including medicine, nursing, pharmacy, social work, and psychology.

The program emphasizes the prevention, identification, and treatment of substance misuse and opioid use disorders. Participants can earn CME credits and certificates upon completion and have access to evaluation forms and feedback surveys to share their insights and experiences.

This project showcases our expertise in developing and delivering innovative online education for healthcare professionals. We have a team of experts in instructional design, web development, and evaluation who work together to create engaging and interactive webinars. Our video resources center offers access to a variety of topics, such as screening and assessment, pharmacotherapy, harm reduction, co-occurring disorders, and interprofessional collaboration. The webinars are also supplemented by additional materials, such as slides, handouts, quizzes, and references, to enhance the learning experience.
